Essex 4 - oil pump performance

Hello all,

I know this question is probably a bit too esoteric for this or any forum, but I'm interested to know the flow rate of the SX4 oil pump when set to full-on and at an engine speed of say 1,000 rpm. Has anybody ever seen this sort of detail recorded anywhere?

No doubt it could be calculated if the diameter and stroke of the pump is measured and the gearing was known relative to crank speed.

I'm not expecting a rush of people to answer this, but if you don't ask . . . .
