Hudson cylinder head and speedometer drive
Hello
My name is Peter Anderson and I have recently joined the chatsite. I have a 1916 Hudson Super Six model H.
The car was originally fitted with a high compression head which was badly cracked in several places. I have obtained a replacement low compression head which I will be fitting shortly. Can anybody advise me of the correct torque for the C-H nuts and what the sequence is for tightening the nuts.
The car is also missing the speedometer gearbox and cable. The speedometer gearwheel and mounting bracket (Stewart 2614 ) at the rear of the gearbox are present as is the speedometer on the instrument panel. Can anybody advise me of the numbers of the missing parts and any possible source of supply.
Thank you in advance for any help
