Camshaft Dowel/Seal and Engine Paint for a 1929 Essex
Greetings,
I am rebuilding a 1929 Essex Super Six engine, which was a basket case and I would greatly appreciate any information on the dowel for the camshaft bearing (Part No. BM 61074) and the "seal" for the camshaft bearing dowel hole (Part No. BM61978). I believe the parts are made of brass. I do not have either part and I would greatly appreciate any information on where I can buy both parts or recommendations on other options.
I would also like to know what is the correct engine color for a 1929 Essex and where can I buy the paint?
Thank you for your kind assistance.
Regards,
Ron
