Happy New Year.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to express
my gratitude and appreciation to all the great people I have met on this
site.  The help with issues and parts coming out of all over the world have
been amazing.

I am doing the woodwork on my 23 speedster right
now and it sure is a challenge.  I never have had a complete body and much
of what I have has been rotted almost beyond recognition.  You sort of have
to extrapolate where a panel would have been if you had one, then make it
up.  Any way, thanks to folks like Evo and Zeke, who provided parts I
thought unfindable, I am finally well on my way.

I had a friend years ago in New Zealand, Bruce
Catchpole, who seemed to turn out an immaculate Packard or Stutz or whatever
every six months or so, in spite of having a full time job.  I asked him
how he did it and his answer was" I do something, no matter how
minor, every single day.  That does take some discipline but it does
work.  After an almost 40 year hiatus, this car is finally coming to life
and I hope to get it to Spokane for the 2010 national meet.  After I win
the lottery, I will take it to the 2012 International in New
Zealand.

Take care and have a great 2010

Karl
