Exhaust leak
Hi Everyone!
Ever since I bought my Super Six Brougham I have
been aware of a leak from the exhaust. Using a carbon monixde detector I
have ascertained that there is a leak and it is coming straight into the
car!

Looking at the exhaust yesterday, there is a pipe
which goes to the manifold. On the manifold itself there is a large knurled nut
which goes around the pipe and winds in an out of the manifold. Can anyone tell
me how this is supposed to create a gas proof seal, I imagine that there may be
something missing.

With thanks,
Fred Parker.
