Questions on cam shaft for my 1917 Hudson
Just got off the phone with Comp Cams in Memphis, TN. They are fixing my camshaft as it had some bad pitting on the lobes. They asked if I wanted it reground original or a little lower so it had a little more duration and would result in a little more torque. They said it really would not change much else with how it runs. I said go ahead. Has anyone else played around with the profile of their cams? I believe I have a high compression head as all the spark plugs are in a row. I figure since I am going through the whole engine, that it would not hurt to have a little more torque.
