1917 Hudson seven passenger touring
Hello again, I realize I have not been on this site for quite some time, and since then, I have learned a few things about the car I purchased on ebay a few years ago. My car frame number and ID tag number match, they are both model"J", but the body appears to be a model "M", or "O". The windshield on the car mounts through the side of the cowl, not through the top. The doors are squared off on the bottom, while the model J is rounded. The dash in my car matches the model M and O. I'm not sure actually which model it is, maybe someone can advise me further. Also, the emergncy brake shoes, (inner shoes), were missing on the car. I now have the shoes, and want to get them relined. The person who can do this says he has to know the thickness of the linning,
and the size of the rivets required. Any help on this would be apreciated.

I purchase a 1917 parts car from Georgia, it was very rough, and is now totally dismanteled. A few parts I have left are: all four door skins in fair shape, parts from one jump seat, windshield stantions, two front leaf springs, a glove box and door, and a drive shaft. I also have the engine and transmission, but am not sure which way I want to go with these yet.My car has a 1929 Pontiac engine and trans in good condition. I would also like to acquire some used 34x41/2, or 35x5 tires to use as spares, and some stanweld lugs used to mount the tires Thank you, Dale
