    Hello every one,

     

    Per our previous chatter, I was able to contact Paul Young in the Willys Group and get the pdf file released on the Bendix Duo Servo Brake Adjustment.My correspondence with Paul should say it all.

     

    Will the "Technocrats"pls have a look at these files and see if this stuff is applicable.We all need to have relable brakes.

    I hope the 3 attached files are of assistance to your contact group.
    I don't suppose you know where to buy replacement concave spring washers that are about 1" in diameter that stop the brake shoes rattling. (They are underneath the split pin - 1 per shoe, Item # 11 in the DuoServo_Brakes.pdf file.)  Mine are all worn.

    I am with the Hudson Super Six group and share Emails through the Yahoo contact group. The discussion about 1929 Hudson brakes has been a recent topic and the lack of information on servicing of the brakes. The Willys 98B has the same Bendex system, so I am told and, your literature on the subject is very complete.

     

    Is there a chance of getting permission or authorization to down load this file? Your help would be appreciated.
