New Gas Tank Sealers and the Marvel 10-725 Pot Metal Bowl
Morning all,
I'm approaching that point on my restore that the Marvel 10-725 needs to be restored.
I've ordered the kit from the Carb Shop and have read alot of articles from Geoff and others.
I've tried the bronze/brass repro Australian contact several times over the last months and never received a response so moving forward I am looking at a second method of saving the pot metal bowl.
My carb appears to still be viable and not crumbling. To keep that state I have been researching the new gas tank sealers in hopes of applying that to the bowl. The new epoxy at www.caswellplating.com looks to be very strong yet easy to mix and apply.
Has anyone attempted this approach and if so what have been your results.
Thanks
Jack
