Fuel Gauge
Hey Guys, our 1929 Essex Coupe has a non functioning Fuel Gauge. We rewired the system as per the original wiring diagram. The sending unit wire to the terminal block, the terminal block to the switch, then the switch to the gauge. Everything seems to be grounded. With the key on the gauge jumps to full. Does anyone know if the oil/fuel switch doubled as a voltage regulator? If so this could be our problem. This phenomena occurs in both positions and the switch seems to be a bit sloppy. Thanks for your anticipated help. Eddie and Barb. |
