Packing Nuts for 27 Coach

Hi all! My husband needs to find "packing nuts" for the water pump on our '27 Hudson Coach. We replaced the corroded shaft of the pump using stainless steel rod according to info given in some older posts here. Thanks to those of you who worked it out our machinist was able to do the job with ease. But now we need the packing nuts and packing to be able to reassemble things. We cannot seem to find the nuts anywhere and don't know what kind of packing to use. The original nuts are corroded beyond use! Any help would be appreciated.

Also, the eccentric for adjusting the water pump/generator assembly is missing several of the "teeth" for accommodating the adjusting wrench. My husband theorizes that instead of using the proper adjusting wrench, someone may have used a hammer and screwdriver (or cold chisel) to do the adjusting! Any idea how we could get a new eccentric. It is stuck to the crankcase and my husband is worried that when he tries to get it loose more teeth will break off. (I'm not sure if I'm explaining this very well since I'm not the mechanic and don't really understand what I'm writing about!) We had a friend make an adjusting tool from the picture in the service manual and a tracing of the eccentric. How do we proceed now?
