Plate mounting hardware
This type of fastener is called a "drive screw". They are hardened and set
by hitting with a hammer and perhaps a finishing nail punch--the tool with a
radiused "hole" in the end that would rest on the drive screw. Available by
size from McMaster-Carr or other hardware suppliers.
