Bruce Baker (billiardrules@hotmail.com) passed away

I was calling around for our upcoming Central Iowa Chapter Event and called Bruce's house to let him know about our event. His widow Karen let me know that he passed last July 24th. She had said it was sudden. For those of you who didnt know him, he has struggled with cancer for many years and it finally caught up to him. He had been talking through a voice box for several years. Bruce was a true collector of Hudsons. They were never in the best condition but he just couldnt pass up buying them when he found them. He even owned a car hauler to bring them home in addition to doing some car hauling on the side. Some of you may have remembered him on the site here. He had purchased a 28 Hudson sedan that he was looking for parts.



I felt bad that I didnt find out until now but Karen had her hands pretty full and had thought about contacting someone. I pledge my support to help her in whatever way I could. She said that she and her son Eric (21) would like to continue in the Hudson club and are going to keep some of the Hudsons (he had almost 30 cars). Bruce has always been a Hudson man and I will sorely miss him.
