Its Time to Do the Roof
Hi All,
I've got my baby 29 Model R in for paint and body work and what's left in the garage is the roof. The roof has the vinal material on top intact but pretty weathered. THe stitched rope sides are coming off. The interior is morhair and also pretty weathered. I have yet to remove anything down to the wood. I would believe the wood to be original.
What recommendations would the group have on restoration? I've also located the right and left rain gutters. I have read there was a rear and front metal piece but donot have those. I have the sun visor - had it repro'd.
Before I start into this I surely could use some advice.
Thanks in advance,
Jack
