1918 Hudson servicing

Got my 1918 Hudson tourer back to my garage yesterday and the first part of the work is to go completely through the car and make it usable and correct. Jobs I know I have to deal with from a quick inspection are the king bolts having far too much play (new bushes and pins?), a knock coming from the gearbox area when the wheels rotated by hand (propshaft joint?), reverting back to the vacuum fuel feed from the fitted electric pump, and the one which will give you a laugh is the brakes are connected up wrong way round (footbrake is working the inside shoes, handbrake the outside set!) Who knows what else I will find.

Have a good weekend.

Kind Regards

Peter
