29 CLUTCH RELEASE (THROWOUT) BEARING
Hi Hudsoneers!
I'm building an EXACT replica of the 1917 race cars with only one deviation from original, in that I'm fitting a '29 clutch in place of the multi-plate.
It's a more robust unit and the reduced rotating mass should help with quicker gearchanges - I hope!
I chose '29, as it was a prolific year for Hudson and I have acquired a good flywheel/clutch assembly - apart from the release bearing which is missing. I've tried all the obvious experts for help, but have been unable to locate a spare.
CAN ANYONE HELP - PLEASE
Any advice will be very much appreciated.
I'll try a post a pic of the body taking shape, so that I hope you'll agree this to be a worthy project
Thanks
Hugh
