Grommet, steering column and shifter at toeboard

On some photos I have of some 1949 and 1950 hudsons, I have seen a one piece grommet on the steering and shifter column that closes out the carpet on the toeboard. Does anyone know where or if these are available. I looked through K-Gap and did not see one.
Thanks

  • The Grommet is a piece of rubber designed to keep the shift lever rod in place and act as an anti rattle item. The floor is closed out with a flat piece of rubber which has holes for the steering tube and the shift rod.

You can cut this item from stock rubber sheeting. The thickness is around 1/16 inch.

    Hope this helps

  • Full Line has the seals if they are still in business.A rubber seal goes under the carpet and one on top of carpet.
