Is there a Piston/Ring catch 22 going on today?

These are T/F questions, please response if you have insight:

Hudson Super Six 1916 - 1929

1) Iron pistons are still available but rings need to be specially made.

2) Iron pistons may or may not have bushings (rod fixed to pin, pin is the same diameter in either).

3) The distance from the pin center to the piston top is different by 1/4 inch between aluminum and iron pistons and it does not matter.

4) There were 2 types of orginal Aluminum pistons that differ 1st and 2nd generation.

5) All original pistons Aluminum or Iron have shallow depth rings.

6) Is there hudson documentation that discusses the difference in the crankshaft weights between iron piston and aluminum piston years.

7 "Give me rings or give me death" is commonly shouted by Hudson Super Six owners.
