    Excuse my probable ignorance but I was surprised to find the foot

    rests pictured here in the back of a car I recently purchased and

    wondered whether they were common place in the USA? I collect the

    early Hudson cars over here in the UK and these were in the back of a

    1920 Supersix Phaeton from Canada. I like them that much that I am

    considering back casting some, either in ally as seen here or brass

    to keep the wife busy polishing! Any comments invited.
