1924 Super six timing case
Managed to get the main timing gear off and fixed the key way.
Question:
In what order does it all go back?...keep in mind a lot of this engine was apart when I got it.
I assume....
The gear on to the crank is pushed on all the way back.
Then a sloping piece (it is keyed) that may pass for an oil slinger. Can't find it in the parts book.
Then a washer/spacer that is also keyed.
Then the cover and the pulley for the fan belt and nut that is also the hand crank dog.
Assuming I have it correct, that does not leave much spare crank for the pulley to sit on.
Comments help !!
Thanks,
Dorien
