22/26 to 29 Clutch Swap
After a long day completed fitting a 29 clutch,
flywheel and transmission to our 25 coach. Very happy with the
result. The 25 clutch was slipping badly and the transmission was very
noisy. Took Geoffs advice and fitted a spare 29 unit I had. All went
pretty seamlessly. One thing to consider is that the earlier transmissions
used heavier castings where the transmission bolts onto the bell housing.
I had to add extra washers to the mounting bolts so they would not bottom out on
the threads.
