water in the ports
hi I just pulled the head of my 29 essex and one cylinder has had water in it . and the exhaust port had a lot of rust and a stuck valve , I have got the valve out , but before I get too carried away I have filled the block up with water to the top of the block and it seems the inlet and exhaust ports are porous after a few hours . I have dried the ports out and will leave them over night
so my questions is there a fix for this? is the block now no good?
