I'll take a guess and say it's a 1930 Hudson or Essex
Yup, Royer, I'm pretty sure it's a '30 Essex. I saw a very nice Art Deco steering wheel like that for sale at Hershey this year (though it was black), and it was identified as a '30 Essex.0 -
It looks a lot like the dash that was in my late grandfather's 1930 Essex.0

It is definitely 1930, but whether it is Hudson or Essex is hard to tell fromt he photo.

I looks like the dash still has the original starter pull on the left of the stering wheel, if so , it is an Essex0
-
But Hudson and Essex had identical starters and controls in 1930!

I have a body tag that I took off of the car, it can from the right side front in front of the door right on the bottom body line. This tag is about 1" X 2" an it seems to be made of brass and it says "HUDSON SUPER BUILT" the plot is thick !!!!0

Again, these body badges were fitted to both Hudson and Essex. The differences were in the engine, (Hudson had 8 cylinders) wheels, (Hudson had 18" Essex 19"), Hudson had longer hood and larger headlamps, brakes were bigger on the Hudson, but apart from that everything was pretty well interchangeable body and mechanical wise.
