Super Six head stud torque
I will be getting my rebuilt (last spare) '26 head back from the machine shop soon. What is the torque for the head studs? I would like to use some anti-seeze on the threads as I would like to retorque the heads because of the nature of the copper-abestos gasket to keep compressing over time. I believe that you have to reduce the torque 10% because of the anti-seeze, but the old brain isn't as reliable as it used to be. Also, has anyone continued on reserching the making of reporduction heads? Evo |
