Need a bit of advice.
Morning all,
Well I've been struggling with my 29 temp sender bulb stuck in the block along with the 1 1/2" adapter. The bulb is long empty and also the 1/8" pipe is history. Its retaining brass fitting is out but that blasted bulb is still well rooted.
Now I've torched the 1 1/2 adapter to dull red over 10 times, applied PB-Blast, openned the adapter to block by using a Dremel to remove the copper washer. Carefully beat, breaker bar'd, pipe wrenched and have rounded off the adapter with absolutely no joy - sucker is really stuck!.
Outside of using a cut-off saw to remove the outer part of the adapter allowing access to the threads has anyone a better idea?
Thanks,
Jack
