The transmission on my 26 Hudson likes to pop out of second gear when going up an incline. I have heard of this happing to cars and trucks
over many years, but I have never heard of a possible explaination of why it happens. Anyone know why?
Has anyone found suitable seals for the front and back Hudson transmission of this era? Or do you just clean and reoil the old felt seals and put a little ring of gasket material in the bottom of the grove under the felt to tighten them up a little bit?
