Hudson Heat
Hello Members.
Peter I had the same problem with heat on my 15 Hudson. I know they
are not the same as a 29 which I have.

MY wife feet would get real red after a day of touring and high button
shoes. The heat on her side of the car was
shoes. The heat on her side of the car was
very hot. To cure the problem I use that pipe wrap they use on
race cars. I wrap the header pipe down to the
race cars. I wrap the header pipe down to the
cut out. This cover most spots where the toe and floor
board. Then I use a sheet of high insulting material
board. Then I use a sheet of high insulting material
that they use in a blast furnace. Its about 1/4 inch thick along with
a material for a welding table.

I made a strip wide enough to cover the header pipe.
I use this to shield the metal toe board. This really help when
it was 100 degree tour. Now in the winter

worlds. We only have a few cold tours in the winter time.

So this is another idea that may help on the 29 Hudson. I will
look into this when I get my 29 on the road.
