Access to Petrol Tank

I want to get at
the petrol tank to check the fuel line to the vac tank and also the suction pipe
assembly.  Over the tank on our '29 H there's a cover which I feel has
to be removed to access the line, etc.  Getting this cover off looks like a
challenge, as they say.  So far I've removed the luggae rack
locating brackets and the four screws along the rear lip, but now I have a
problem.  The cover continues under the rear of the body and is located on
either side by substantial body bolts.
