    Hi Folks

We picked up this Essex last week.
Restoration was done in the mid 80s but never completed.  The gentleman
passed away and the car wound up with his son who was not interested in
it.  Upholstery is all done and the motor was rebuilt by a fellow in
Puyalup Washington.  I was able to drive it onto the trailer. Wheels were
terribly loose but fortunately I had a pretty decent set in the shed.
Brakes were all relined but not installed on the rear.

    We need a few bits:

    Front splash apron

Steering wheel and control levers.  Geoff
looks like we need another steering wheel hub.

Rear frame crossmember complete.  This one is
home made and the spring perches do not line up properly

29 fuel gauge sending unit and fuel pick up
    connection.

    Gas tank mount straps.

I am sure there will be more.  Question:
where does the temperature gauge sending unit go on the motor.  I can see
    no place to put it.

    Thanks

    Karl

.Hi  I am needing to dismantle an American Bosch Distributor to
convert it from 6 to 4 cylinder.  I have no information on these and hope
that Alex may have posted something.  However I cannot find the link to
the publications Alex has put on line.

    Thanks
