Question on 29 Marvel Carb
I've been running up my 29 engine getting ready to install in the car. I noticed as I loosened to 2 bolts at the carb/riser I got a bunch of fuel come out. Looks as the fuel came from the tube that runs up the outside of the throat. Engine runs fine at idle and accelerates as expected. Float level is correctly set. So it appears the fuel is drawn up by throat vacuum.
Is this normal?
Pic attached showing carb and tube in question.
Thanks
Jack
