Question on Engine/Tranny Combo Removal 29 Std Sedan
Evening,
I'm finally getting back to my 29. Its time to swap engines putting in a working rebuilt removing the original.
Removed the gear shift/starter pedal, brake/clutch pedals, exhaust flange, wiring, drive shaft, etc. As I was planning removal I noticed the driver side rear engine mount nestled in behind the steering box. I've pulled an engine/tranny combo out of a parts car a couple years back, the steering box was already missing so if there's an issue of the box interfering I'm not aware of it. There looks to possibly be sufficient room to rotate the engine rear left just enough to clear. I wanted to check with group to be sure before I chain it up.
Thanks guys,
Jack
