Non Hudson question
An elderly friend of mine has a Nuffield 4/25 tractor with a Zenith26 VME carb. Fuel supply is via a banjo fitting. Seems a washer was lost in the field and in attempt to stop the leak the thread in the carb body was stripped. Seems the carbs are pretty much unobtainable unless you want to spend $500 or so. There is not enough meat to put a bushing into the stripped thread. Wonder if anyone has had any luck restoring such stripped threads. JB Weld?
