In the early 1930s a lot of cars were rebodied here in Australia. It was the depression era, cheap cars, low employment and taxes on imported vehicles. Hope Body Works in Queensland was one such business doing this. There is a nice 1934 Terra ambulance in Qld. 

A funeral business in Victoria has found one of their old hearses - a 1925 Hudson rebodied in 1934. Here is the story. I also know of another 1926 Hudson close to me that had the same treatment. Both cars obviously identical and have come from the same body workshop. Hope its interesting to you.
