1947 window channel rubbers

Thanx to victorz for information on his window channel materials, but I have a general question.  Did any of the 46-7 cars/trucks come from the factory with the stainless run channels or was black rubber the only type available?  The old stuff in my pu doors was rubber so maybe only the commodore models had the stainless?  Just curious.
