You should still be able to turn it. Did you plasti-gauge your main bearings to check the clearances? That will tell you if it's too tight. I always lube the rope seal with a little assembly lube or motor oil before I set the crank in and put the caps on.0

I ordered a new set of bearings standed size, it is the last one given me the problem, what is pastiest-gauge?0

Its like a wax string that you set on your journal to measure the gap between the bearing and the journal. (this gap is needed for the oil to layer between the surfaces) When you torque your mains or rod caps the bearing will squeeze or flatten the wax string. Once torqued to correct torque you then take the main or cap off and measure the squish.
hopefully that makes some sense???

If you do a google search for "How to use plasti gauge" there are several short videos that explain it very well. You will need the green package (.001-.003)0
