Rear brakes ?

I have a 48 Super Six Coupe with a stock Hudson rear end, with the Ford style drop out diff. I need to know is there a way to change out the read drums into rear disc brake system? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

ok. time is on my side for now. am slowly taking my car apart at this time to begin the restoration. I'll take the rear end apart to get at the backing plates
