Icarus (Greek: Ἴκαρος, Íkaros, Etruscan: Vikare) is the son of Daedalus in Greek mythology.

The main and most well-known story involving Icarus is the tale of his attempt to escape Crete with wings crafted by his father. Daedalus warned him not to fly too close to the Sun, but he ignored the advice and fell out of the sky causing his death.

Yes - very interesting.  One could be forgiven for thinking it was a flying lady; I see it on the internet listed as a winged goddess or flying goddess, and it does sort of look like it has breasts.  One can see that it is Icarus because you can see where the wings are attached to his arms with a band up by the wrist - a goddess should not need her wings strapped on.

They have to be kidding!!! $800 for an original die-cast one that could break in half at any moment!    My reproductions are half that price, and are chrome plated bronze.

Perhaps we need a section for the very nice reproduction items that the talented people provide for our automobiles!

It certainly would seem to help both sides in completing a satisfactory transaction.
