  • ARE YOU WANTING THE SMALL CAP THAT IS USUALLY USED WITH THE TRIM RINGS OR FULL WHEEL COVERS?
  • It would be the small 1954 caps, but no trim ring is used with these
according to sales brochure photos that i have.

    What do you have?

  • I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT ALL "SUPER" MODELS (JET & WASP)HAD FULL WHEEL COVERS RATHER THAN THE FLAT HUB CAPS. THE FLAT CAPS ARE USUALLY FOUND ON THE LOWER PRICED MODELS SUCH AS HORNET SPECIAL, WASP AND BASE JETS. MAYBE YOUR WASP HAS THE WRONG CAPS. IF YOU DO HAVE THE FLAT CAPS WITH RIBS ON THE EDGE, THEN ANY CAP FROM A '52 ON SHOULD WORK.
  • According to the photos I have the Hornet had a full wheel cover (white/red tri w/blue background),
the Super Wasp had/has ~ 11.5" dia SS hubs w/about 4-5 ribs on outer edge (red tri in center),
and the Wasp had a very simple smallest hub ~ 8" in diameter (red tri in center)
  • O.K. I STAND CORRECTED. NOW, ARE YOU LOOKING FOR THE SMALL 8" PLAIN CAPS WITH THE RED TRIANGLE IN THE CENTER (SORT OF LIKE A BABY MOON) OR THE LARGER FLAT & RIBBED CAP?
  • looking for the larger (middle-sized) one for the Super Wasp,; ~ 11-12" in diameter.
