Concept for multicarb Hudson intake that may be doable and affordable

I am intrigued by converting the old style aluminum 49 intake over to three 1 barrel carbs.  If you were to run triple carbs, wouldn't three 3 WA-1's from a Jet 202 twin H would be the appropriate size for a 308?  or at least a good starting point for tuning.
