1928 -29 engine colours

in Hudson 1916 - 1929
Firstly what is the correct color for the engine on a 1928 Hudson? Secondly was it the same for 1929 Hudson engines? Was the head a different color to the block or the same?

    In 29, the head and block were a fairly dark green. The crankcase and rocker cover were natural aluminum.

    OK thanks, that is the color my 28 engine is currently, just wanted to confirm it was correct.

    I was looking for the same info...thanks. I am building a 1930 super six.  Essex four door sedan. all the pics I have found are fairly dark green

    Probably Model A Ford suppliers would have it.
