Who can tell me what year this engine is from?

This was in a pile of Hudson stuff. I am not very knowledgeable on these early engines. I know that it is pre 1940 but that’s about it. It has Hudson across the top of the head. Does anyone have an idea?

    1934 and/ or 1935
    Waterpump mounts to cyl head

    Serial number on drivers side of engine,  on side at front, on raised pad just below cyl head.

    1935.  Looks like a later ‘30’s carburetor but hard to tell from this angle.  ‘34’s had the same WP config but no ‘HUDSON’ on the head

    I think it would  from a 1935 Hudson 6.   I have never seen one with a head like that.
