Terraplane Ignition Parts Interchangeability ?

Just asking on on behalf of a 32 Terraplane Six owning friend -
are the distributor caps, rotors and points interchangeable on all the different distributors used on 32 - 38 Terraplanes ?
He says distributor on his car is Autolite IGW-4103A but that doesn't sound right to me.

I recall using a 46/ 47 cap and rotor on a 29 Essex distributor.
