1947 Hudson Pickup Spare tire mount

Does anyone have a good picture of how the spare tire mounts under the 47 pickup. Is they instructions somewhere on this operation? I have the bar for the tire mount, but I never saw it on my truck.

    I’m not sure if this is correct, but when I took my pickup apart, there was a piece of wood between the spare tire and the frame rail. I figured that it was there to prevent the tire from rubbing on the fuel tank so I replaced it.Tom

    Can you send me the measurements for the wood strip? My spare is pushing up on the bottom of my gas tank.   Ed
