1954 Trunk Carpet?
Anyone know what was used in the trunk area of a 54 Hudson Hornet? Carpet or rubber mat and where one can buy them?
I’d seen this on eBay but don’t know if correct or how well it’s made?

They used a very lightweight woven material, not carpet, not rubber. The sample on ebay seems to be about right. I can post a photo of the original mat in my 54 if needed.0

Did they use anything on the vertical surface or just the flat part of trunk?0

Just the flat part0

Been some time since I posted and now have a new computer. EtTo the double post. I found this in the ads of the WTN. It is much like a heavy burlap and bound around the edges. It was advertised as a reproduction of the original. It fits like a glove....0

That looks very nice, thanks for sharing that. I’ll take a look in the WTN & see if I can find it.0
