My '53 Hornet Project
I haven't been here in a while and after a long two year project of getting my car ready for the road, I finally drove her home twenty miles a couple weeks ago and what a thrill, driving a car with no power steering out my crooked road with one hand at 60 mph. Now it's time to dress her up with all the nicer parts I have so I'll post some pics as I go. I can tell this old girl was never out in the weather, all nuts and bolt came loose with one little tug and spun off by hand, had the whole front off in about 30 minutes. Here's a few of the tare down, truly amazing how clean she is under her jewelry. next comes replacing all the rubber, found a complete kit in my parts stash.
