'54 Door mechanism part ID?

Need to take my '54s doors apart to do some window (cracked) and seals repair (the PO installed the vent window seals on the wrong sides).  In the bottom of the driver's door was this part.  I have not taken the other door apart yet, but wondered if someone knows what this part is?  The door nor window function did not seem to be a problem.

Dan, that part secures the vent window long mast to the inside door of the car. This location is notorious for having screws that will not come off. The mast  itself usually has separated from the flange  at the bottom where the mast attaches to another  metal flange that attaches to the body. You should see a small square hole about midway through the door where it is supposed to attach.
