Fuel Pump Leak
Now that my 39 is up and running again I discovered a leak at my fuel pump Looks to be coming from the cylinder/Bullet like piece on top of the pump in the picture posted. Either a crush gasket or an O ring I would think. I will replace and put thread sealant on it and cross my fingers it don't leak after that. She will be on the road soon!

DO NOT USE TEFOLON THREAD SEALANT!!!!! This will eventually soften and likely to get into the workings of the pump or carburettor.0

Fiber washer under the dome, otherwise direct metal to metal on the tapered fittings.0

Leak is fixed! New gasket a little thread sealer and no more leak. Now on to the exhaust.0
