Exhaust manifold nuts

Is there any problem using brass nuts on the exhaust manifold studs on my 53 Hornet?

No Bob. Thats what Hudson used on their stepdowns to prevent the nut and the stud from 'welding'.  A good idea in theory. Didn't always work out that way.

Works fine if you use graphite anti-seize paste.
