Can anyone on the forum give me the correct numbers for the Hudson 8 distributor rotors from 1934 to 1942.  I understand there were also aftermarket suppliers apart from Autolight.  Their numbers would also be helpful

Not what you're asking but I've recently bought a 35 distributor kit from Wildrick, cap, rotor, points and condenser

There are more than 20 different companies that sold rotors. Most were bought from the same supplier.

    Here's a few, 1930 - 47 HUDSON 8
    Autolite - IG 1576
    Echlin - AL 46
    Filco - AL 88
    G.P. - AL 45
    KEM -1542
    STANDARD - AL 69

You're in NZ - If your car is one of the British assembled Hudson Eights, some of them used a taller distributor arm and cap than US cars. All such ones I've seen are marked
    "Made in England ".
You can't use these arms in the shorter US caps. I don't know if you can use the shorter arm in the tall caps.
