Hood support arms

How and with what hardware are the hood support arms attached? I would assume that a shoulder bolt of some sort is used on the hood. Any ideas?

    Yes, a simple nut, bolt, and lock washer. Nut on the fender side of the mount.

    Not a "simple" bolt,  but one with a collar machined in it to fit the hole in the arm. the thread is 1/4".

    I found the collar/shoulder hardware at Ace....
